One Killed, Two Critical In Attack Over Past Enmity In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: An elderly person was killed while his wife and daughter sustained critical injuries in Surendrapatna Mundiasahi under Tigiria police station limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Wednesday in the midst of Holi celebrations across the state.
According to reports, unidentified miscreants attacked the three members of the family with sharp weapons on Wednesday morning over some past enmity.
The deceased has been identified as Anshmani Behera.
The two injured women were first rushed to Athagarh Medical Center but later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) after their condition deteriorated.
On being informed, Tigiria police arrived at the crime scene and started an investigation. The police have detained two women in connection with the crime.
