Bolangir: One person was killed, and two others sustained grievous after the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a stationary tipper on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Chaitanya Barlendiya (44) of Tikapali and the injured persons, Gurubaru Thela (22) of Bhatisalapada and Tapan Sand (18) of Kadepada, have been shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir.
The mishap took place near Bhanusagar canal in Patnagarh’s Bramhapur on NH 42 when the trio was returning to Patnagarh. The prompt act of a youth Rakesh Purohit of Bramhapura could save the lives of the injured persons, reports stated.
