One Killed, Two Injured Due To Head-On Collision Of Bikes In Balangir

Bhubaneswar: A head-on collision between two bikes claimed one life and left two others critically injured near Malijhar Square under Belpada police station in Balangir district.

According to reports, Samrat Bag, a resident of Raipur in Chhattisgarh, had come to Balangir to attend a marriage function. He came to Belpada Square with two others on a bike for some wedding related work when their vehicle collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact left all three occupants severely injured, with Samrat succumbing to his injuries at Patnagarh Hospital.

The injured duo was first taken to Patnagarh Hospital, where they received primary treatment before being shifted to a hospital in Balangir for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Belpada police have launched an investigation into the incident and are examining the reason behind the mishap.
