Bhubaneswar: A worker was killed and two others critically injured when an old building collapsed during demolition in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday evening.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Lingaraj Vihar area under Airfield police limits. Seven labourers were engaged in demolishing the structure when an old beam suddenly gave way, crashing onto three of the workers.
Tragically, one labourer died instantly at the site. The two severely injured workers were rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.
At the time of filing of this report the identities of the deceased or the injured labourers were not known.
