Berhampur: A youth died while another was injured after they were attacked by a group of youths at Gangapur in Ganjam district on Tuesday night.
The deceased youth has been identified as Amar Rout of Kaliaguda village. The injured youth is Siba Pradhan of the same village.
Reportedly, they were attacked by some youths on Badaborasingi-Khariaguda road yesterday night. Both of them were rushed to Bhanjanagar hospital in critical condition.
While Rout was declared dead, Pradhan was shifted to MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Berhampur as his condition deteriorated.
