Bhubaneswar: Online classes for first-year Plus III students will begin from March 1 in Odisha.
Principal Secretary of Higher Education Department Saswat Mishra has written a letter to all vice-chancellors of universities and principals of government and private colleges in the State in this regard.
Offline classes for final year undergraduate and post-graduate students have commenced in the State from January 11, this year.
Similarly, from February 10 this year offline teaching has commenced for first-year post-graduate and second-year students of three-year degree courses and third-year students of four-year degree courses.
Since Covid-19 restrictions are in force, offline teaching of Plus-III first year has not been possible. However, it is apprehended that Plus-III students will face problems unless teaching commences early. In view of this, it has been decided to impart teaching to Plus-III first-year students offline.
