OPCC To Hold Sankalpa Padayatra From Bhubaneswar To Puri On Feb 18

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) plans to hold a rally, Sankalpa Padayatra, from Bhubaneswar to Puri to reconnect with old party leaders and workers and strengthen its grassroots presence.

OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das has formed a special committee, chaired by former MLA Dr. Debasis Pattnaik, to ensure the rally’s success. The padyatra will start on February 18 and cover the route from Bhubaneswar Airport to Puri Shree Jagannath temple.

A 16-member coordination committee, also headed by Dr. Pattnaik, has been formed to oversee the event, comprising young and veteran leaders. This committee was established after Bhakta Charan Das took office as the new Odisha Congress chief.

Through a release, the OPCC has requested all the party leaders and cadres to join the rally on the scheduled date.
