Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance on Thursday carried out raids at different locations in connection with a disproportionate assets allegations against Odisha State Pollution Control Board Chief Engineer Rabi Narayana Prusty.
According to the Vigilance searches are being carried out at 7 locations in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam. Eight DSPs, 4 Inspectors and 5 ASIs have been assigned the task to carry out assessment of the property owned by Prusty.
Searches are on at Flats in Patia, Jagmohan Nagar, Shreekhetra Bhakta Nivas, shop at Barabhuja market complex in Khandagiri, relative’s house in Nayapali, house at native place in Nuagaon in Ganjam and office chamber at OPSCB Bhubaneswar.
“The Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar has issued warrants for the searches which are on,” a senior Vigilance official said.
