Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Wednesday directed the State Government to extend the deadline for affixation of High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) on the old vehicles registered prior to 01.04.2019 carrying Odisha Registration Mark and Registration Number ending with 1, 2, 3 & 4.
As per the direction, the deadline has been extended for one month till December 31. The deadline had been extended three times earlier for the convenience of the vehicle owners.
The Advocate General representing the state government informed the court that booking slots for the High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) have been increased to 57000 per day. Earlier it was 25000 per day.
The slots can be booked online on the portal siam.in or at the Mo Seva Kendras. One can also apply for the same through the HSRP help desks functional in all the RTOs and ARTOs across Odisha.
