Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 organisations have signed 13 MoUs with Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) for skill development training.
Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Drinking Water, Rabi Narayan Naik graced the pact signing event as a chief guest.
Praising the initiative taken by the ORMAS, Naik said, “ Through Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), ORMAS inked pacts with 10 entrepreneurs on Thursday. As per the agreement, Rs 125 crore will be spent for the training of youths. This will create job opportunities for 17,272 youths in the state.”
