Malkangiri: An orphan girl is struggling for survival in the midst of a dense forest in MPV-1 village of the district. The poor girl, Deepa Mandal had lost her mother when she was barely three months old. Deepa’s father died 10 days back, leaving her all alone in the world.
Deepa has no relatives and her father was a labourer. With all resources he had, Deepa’s father ensured that she went to school. Currently, Deepa is studying in +2 first year at Poteru college.. However, after her father’s death, life has become very tough for the girl.
She is unable to meet her daily expenses, leave apart going to college for education. Local people have come forward with help, but Deepa seeks assistance from the Government to continue her education and lead a respectable life.
She gets 5 kg rice as support from the administration. The young girl is a good student and aims at becoming a successful woman in her life for which Deepa hopes the local administration will help her.
