OSCSC Junior Accountant Arrested For Possessing Disproportionate Assets Worth Crores

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths arrested Rabindra Kumar Barik, a Junior Accountant with the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation (OSCSC) Ltd, Sundargarh, for possessing disproportionate assets worth crores.

The searches conducted at his properties revealed a multi-storeyed building, a market complex with a gym, a Kalyan Mandap in Balasore, a building in Baripada, four valuable plots in Balasore, 175 grams of gold, and deposits of Rs 43.81 lakh, which he failed to explain satisfactorily.

A case (Balasore Vigilance PS Case No 19/2025) has been registered against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act, and investigation is ongoing.
