**Cuttack:** Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) proprietor Mahimananda Mishra on Friday filed a petition before the Orissa High Court (HC) appealing for granting him and his three other employees of OSL’s Paradip office anticipatory bail in the sensational murder case of SSLL GM Mahendra Swain in October.
According to sources, Mishra and his three associates, now reportedly absconding, have also challenged the Look-Out Notice (LOC) issued by the Jagatsinghpur police against them.
Look-Out Circular (LOC) has already been issued against Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) proprietor Mahimananda Mishra and three of his employees Basant Kumar Bal, Subash Acharya and Devi Tripathy.
Seaways and Logistics Limited (SSLL) General Manager (GM) Mahendra Swain was gunned down on October 26 at the port city of Paradip by assailants.
The slain GM’s elder brother Raj Kishore Swain has lodged an FIR in the Paradip Police Station mentioning Mahimananda Mishra and three of his employees behind the murder of his younger brother.
Notably, the Jagatsinghpur police has already nabbed five accused in this connection and they have been sent to jail on Thursday.
Police claim that they have got enough evidence against Mishra and his three employees.
