OSRTC Bus Runs Over Two Bike Riders In Odisha’s Bolangir

Bhubaneswar: Two youths were run over by an Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus near the toll gate on National Highway No 57 on Bolangir-Sonepur road on Tuesday night killing both on the spot. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

On being informed, Puikutla police reached the spot and detained the bus and the driver at Tarbha police station. A case has been registered and the police have launched an investigation into the accident.

According to reports, the OSRTC bus was plying on the Phulbani-Balangir route when it hit the motorbike near Bhadrapalli and ran over the two youths resulting in their death on the spot. The two youths were on their way from Phulbali to Bolangir when the bus ran over them.
