Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has made elaborate arrangements for conduct of Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET)-2021 (2nd phase) tomorrow.
“The OSSTET-2021 (2nd case) will be conducted at 338 centres tomorrow,” informed Ramashish Hazra, president, BSE, Odisha.
Hazra said that the exam will be held in two sittings, while Paper-I will be held from 9 AM to 11.30 AM, Paper-II will be held from 1 PM to 3.30 PM.
A maximum number of candidates have registered for appearing in the examination this time.
“A total of 72,280 candidates will be appearing in the test. We have examination centres in all districts. Squads have been formed which includes squads from the BSE, at DEO level and eight special squads,” explained Hazra.
We have issued instructions to conduct the exam abiding by Covid-19 guidelines, he added.
BSE vice-president Nihar Ranjan Mohanty informed that tight security arrangements have been put in place at the examination centres and there will be 24×7 security arrangement at nodal centres.
A control room has been opened for coordination purposes, he added.
“Any candidate booked for malpractice will be debarred from appearing OSSTET and OTET in future. Use of mobile phones have been banned for all including supervising officials,” Mohanty warned.
OSSTET is the mandatory eligibility test that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as secondary teachers in Government/Government Aided schools of Odisha.
