Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) and the Tourism Department today celebrated ‘Chhenapoda Dibasa’ at the Paryatan Bhawan here today.
The celebration was held in the presence of OTDC Chairman Lenin Mohanty and Director of Tourism cum MD OTDC Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav.
Speaking on the occasion, OTDC Chairman Mohanty spoke about the taste of Chhenapoda and it is an integral part of the state’s food and drinks heritage.
He said that demand for Chhenapoda is not limited to our state alone but among tourists from abroad as well.
He highlighted that local food plays a major role in the growth of the tourism industry in the state and its contribution to promoting “Brand Odisha” internationally is significant.
Additional Secretary Balamukund Bhuyan, Additional Secretary Anant Narayan Singh Laguri, Joint Secretary Ellora Bharati Jena, Joint Secretary Rajkishore Palei, Tourism Department OSD Anshuman Rath and senior officers among others were present on the occasion.
