Bhubaneswar: A total of 11,06,536 youths are registered as of date in the live register of various Employment Exchanges of the State, informed Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education Pritiranjan Gharai in the Odisha Assembly today.
Replying to a query from Rajnagar MLA Dhrub Charan Sahoo, Gharai said that 1053, 83, 172, 59, and 49 youths have been provided with jobs in various government and private organisations respectively in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (up to June 2023) through the Employment Exchanges.
As many as 1,75,359 youths, 60,976 youths, 1,59,650 youths, 1,68,629 youths and 3,55,258 youths have registered their names respectively in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (up to June 2023) with Employment Exchanges as per their educational qualification, Gharai added.
