**Bhubaneswar: ** Presiding over a review meeting with the ADMs from the 30 districts of Odisha, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Maheswar Mohanty on Friday informed that there has been a steady progress in disposal of pending land related cases in the Tehsil offices.
Soon after the meeting, the Revenue Minister informed, “Stress was laid on heaps of cases pending in the Tehsil offices in the State. People are more involved in mutation cases, conversion cases of OLR in 8-day timeline, etc.”
“Steps have been taken to dispose of those cases soon. We’ve been successful in this regard. Over 18% growth has been noticed in comparison to previous rate of disposal,” he claimed.
Elucidating on it, he said, “Earlier it could not be known about the pending mutation cases in the respective Tehsils. Now the status of the cases is being displayed at every Tehsil. A website is being built by NIC on Revenue Management System meant for every Tehsil. We’re taking all steps to win the confidence of the people.”
