Bhubaneswar: As many as 2,64,690 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered to children aged between 15 and 18 years so far in Odisha, informed Family Welfare Director and Odisha vaccination in charge Dr. Bijay Panigrahi on Thursday.
He further said that as many as 80,927 teens were vaccinated in 1125 sessions across the State on Wednesday. The inoculation drive is also underway today at 1125 centres.
Speaking about the precaution or booster dose for healthcare and frontline workers and people above 60 years of age with comorbidities, Panigrahi said that the same vaccine will be administered as the third dose.
As they are already registered on CoWIN, they need to provide their registered mobile number to receive the booster dose, he added.
