Over 20 Passengers Injured As Bus Overturns In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: As many as 20 passengers were injured as a bus carrying over 50 passengers from Parajang to Bhubaneswar met with an accident near Kantiokatani in Tumusingha police limits in Dhenkanal district.

The accident occurred as the bus overturned into the Rengali branch canal. While the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, it is reported that the bus veered off the road and plunged into the canal.

Upon receiving the news, the fire brigade team rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations.

The injured passengers were immediately shifted to the Anlabereni Community Health Centre, where they are undergoing treatment.

The rescue and relief operations are ongoing, and further details about the accident are awaited.
