Bhubaneswar: Out of 99,191 landless poor in Odisha 65,332 have been provided with pattas (legal paper for land ownership) for homesteads.
Replying to a query by Congress member from Barabati-Cuttack Md Moquim, Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Pramila Mallik told the House that as per data available from 15 districts out of the total 99,191 landless poor in the State 65,332 have been provided with pattas for homesteads.
Process is underway as per government rules to provide homesteads to the remaining 4729 eligible beneficiaries, Mallik added.
