Balasore: Over 800 grams of brown sugar worth around Rs 80 lakh was seized by central excise officials during simultaneous raids at three different places in Jaleswar of Balasore district on Wednesday.
Three persons including a woman was arrested in this connection. They are Dibakar Nayak of Baramile, Sk Subhauddin of Sasanbad, and Sunita Barik of Patharpura.
The excise officials have also seized two motorcycles from their possession.
