Bhubaneswar: A total of 910.74 gm brown sugar and 17.60 quintals of ganja has been seized by the Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar Urban Police District (UPD) during the last 10 months (1.1.2023 to 31.10.2023) under ‘Operation White Spider’, a press release issued by Bhubaneswar DCP said.
While a total of 118 cases have been registered during the period, as many as 258 persons have been arrested in this connection.
Besides, cash to the tune of Rs 11,07,924, 20 four wheelers, 05 three wheelers, 31 two wheelers, and 106 mobile phones have been seized from the possession of the accused persons, the release added.
