Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday reviewed the Central Fund release position under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) under which the State Government is expected to get more than six thousand crores rupees.
During the review meeting at New Delhi, it was found that the present CSS release position stands as Rs 7544 crores and over Rs 6000 crores release is due under major people oriented schemes such as PMAY, MGNREGA, NSAP, PMGSY, etc.
Patnaik directed to closely follow up with the Government of India in coordination with the Departments of the State Government. He directed the concerned officials to continuously follow up the release of funds from CSS and bring it to his notice, if there is any delay.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the implementation of 5T framework and directed the Resident Commissioner, Special Resident Commissioner to expedite it for effective governance. He also directed to pursue for the allotment of land to set up Odisha Cultural Centre at Delhi.
