Bhubaneswar: The Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital in Talcher will be operational soon.
Chairing a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan, Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena today instructed the concerned authorities for necessary preparations and cooperation to make the hospital functional.
The hospital was named after the eminent freedom fighter and former Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Late Pabitra Mohan. It was decided in the meeting that the hospital will be made operational at the earliest in collaboration with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL).
Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Angul Collector, MCL CMD, Senior Officers of the Health Department and senior officials from MCL attended the meeting.
