Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Monday released the list of star campaigners for the upcoming three-tier Panchayat polls.
There are 20 members in Congress’ star campaigners team led by OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik. Second in command is party veteran and CLP leader Narasingha Mishra followed by AICC General Secretary Chella Kumar (Odisha in-charge).
Similarly, Chhattisgarh PCC president Mohan Markam, Chhattisgarh Ministers Kawasi Lakhma and Amar Jeet Bhagar and AICC Secretary G Rudra Raju will also campaign for the party candidates for the rural polls.
Working president Chiranjib Biswal, MP Saptagiri Ulaka, senior leaders Jayadev Jena, Sarat Patnaik, Panchanan Kanungo and MLAs Suresh Routray, Taraprasad Bahinipati, Md Moquim and Santosh Singh Saluja are also in the list of star campaigners.
Former Ministers Bijaylaxmi Sahoo, Kishore Patel, OPCC vice president Suresh Mohapatra and Media Convener Satyaprakash Nayak are also in the team, the OPCC stated.
