Pandian Offers Humble Tributes To Late Sugnana Kumari On Her ‘Dwadasha’

Bhubaneswar: Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha Kartik Pandian on Tuesday offered his humble tributes to former MLA  Late V Sugnana Kumari Deo at a function organised at RCM Science College, Khallikote to observe her ‘Dwadasha’ (12th day death ritual).

Pandian met Deo’s family members, relatives and local people during the occasion. He said that Deo had served as the unopposed leader of this area for several decades. It was due to her personality and service attitude Deo earned respect from all cutting across political parties, he added.

Stating that Deo and her family had played a significant role in the formation of Odisha as a separate State and its development, the 5T Chairman said that Deo as the daughter-in-law of Raja Bahadur Ramchandra Mardharaj was the heir of the Khallikote royal family.
