Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Kartik Pandian is on a visit to Delhi under instructions of party president Naveen Patnaik, clarified Rajya Sabha member and BJD national spokesperson Sasmit Patra.
Addressing a presser here on Thursday, Patra alleged, “Some sections of the media are broadcasting utterly distasteful , unfounded and disconcerting news with mala fide intention over his (Kartik Pandian’s) Delhi visit. We request the concerned media houses to refrain from broadcasting such utterly distasteful and disconcerting news with mala fide intention.”
Patra said that there is no such provision for a leader or leaders of any party to inform the media when visiting any place.
Therefore, the concerned media houses should refrain from broadcasting such news, he added.
