Bhubaneswar: The 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V.K Pandian visited Cuttack today in the evening on the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and reviewed various transformation works.
He visited SCB Medical College, Chandi Temple, Taladanda Canal and Ravenshaw Girls School.
He offered prayers at Cuttack Chandi Temple and discussed with the temple priests and district administration regarding various renovation works of the shrine.
Notably, the transformation and beautification of Chandi temple is going on under the 5T initiative. Pandian has ordered to complete the beautification, drainage, parking and other works at the earliest.
He suggested that attention should be paid to the way in which travelers can have smooth darshan of the Goddess.
He also visited SCB Medical College and Hospital and reviewed the progress of its transformation work. He directed to complete the construction of four clinical blocks and 13 residential blocks at the earliest.
Pandian then visited Ravenshaw Girls’ School and interacted with the teachers of the school. He directed the department to restore the heritage building.
During the visit of 5T Chairman, Principal Secretary, District Collector, CMC Commissioner, DCP, Managing Director of OBCC and senior officers were present.
