Bhubaneswar: Ollywood comedian Tatwa Prakash Satpathy alias Papu Pom Pom has been acquitted in the casting couch case.
Notably, Papu Pom Pom was accused of exploiting a minor girl on the pretext of giving her a break. The girl had levelled allegations against the actor in June 2016.
After examining the incident, Khurda District Child Welfare Committee (CWC) recommended police to lodge an FIR in the matter.
The actor had been charged under different sections of the IPC and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
