**Bhubaneswar:** Hearing the bail plea of casting-couch-accused Ollywood actor Papu Pom Pom alias Tatwa Prakash Satapathy and his close aide Pradip Swain as slated earlier, the Khurda District Judge and Sessions Court here on Monday rejected it.
Papu and his associate appeared before the court through video conferencing from the Jharpada Jail where both the accused have been lodged now after their arrests from the Neelachal Apartment in Puri town on June 30.
Earlier on the day, the court after hearing the bail plea had reserved its verdict.
The court on July 4 had adjourned the bail plea hearing of Papu till July 11 following non-submission of the case diary (CD) by police.
The Commissionerate Police had sought seven-day time to submit the CD in the court.
The Mahila Police Station here has registered a case against Papu and his aide under Sec 354 (A), 506, 509 of IPC and Sec 8, 12 and 17 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on charges of sexually abusing a minor girl after recording statements of the victim and her mother under Sections 161 and 164 of the CrPC.
