Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed and nine sustained serious injuries in a tragic road mishap in Bargarh on Thursday. The accident occured near the ITI in Kutapali under Bheden police limits.
According to reports, the van was carrying members of a wedding party (from the bride’s side). The members of the group were returning after seeing off the bride at her in-laws’ house in Galima village.
The driver lost control of the wheels because of overspeeding and the vehicle overturned. The accident resulted in the loss of two lives while the injured are undergoing treatment. Bheden police have seized the vehicle and registered a case in this connection.
