Rourkela: In a horrific incident, a Mo Bus was virtually reduced to ashes while passengers and crew had a narrow escape after the vehicle suddenly caught fire in Odisha’s Rourkela on Saturday.
The Mo Bus was travelling from Rourkela to Vedvyas when the bizarre incident took place near TCI Chhak. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident as all the 10 passengers and the bus staff could get off the vehicle on time.
According to reports, smoke was seen emanating from the driver’s cabin and soon fire engulfed the vehicle. The fire is said to be a result of a technical glitch.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel reach the spot and contained the fire. However, the bus was completely razed by the blaze. Brahmani Tarang police have registered a case in this connection and started an investigation into the incident.
