The gruesome incident has sent shock waves across the state.
The rape survivors, 14-year-old and 12-year-old residents of a slum in Patia locality, were reportedly kidnapped by two boys of the same locality and taken to a nearby railway foot-over bridge.
The miscreants tied the girls with a rope and gang-raped them for the entire night. The victims were crying and severing in pain but the accused threatened to kill the girls if they inform others about their misdemeanor.
They were released on Tuesday and narrated their plights to their family members on reaching home. When family members of the girls asked the miscreants about it, the culprits tried to give the former some money asking the family not to spread the news in public.
