Puri: A photograph of Lord Jagannath and his siblings sitting on the Ratna Singhasan (bejewelled throne) at the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri has allegedly gone viral on social media.
Despite the prohibition of taking mobile phone, camera, or any electronic gadgets inside Srimandir, one Arijit Chandra of Kolkata in West Bengal has shared the photograph on Facebook mentioning it to be of the Ratna Vedi or Ratna Singhasan.
While Arijit has also tagged a servitor of the Srimandir, it is yet to be confirmed that the photo is original or an edited one. Devotees have sought a probe by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to ascertain the truth.
