Jajpur: Police on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone who provides information about Pihu, the minor girl who is missing since August 9, 2020, from Madhusudanpur village under Binjharpur police limits in Jajpur district.
Several posters have been put up inside Binjharpur Police Station and several prominent locations.
Pihu was two-year-old when she went missing. Her parents had lodged a missing report with the local police alleging their daughter was kidnapped. For the last two years, her mother Monalisa is moving from pillar to post in a bid to find her daughter.
In May this year, she appealed to the then President Ram Nath Kovind for Euthanasia. As her daughter is still untraceable, Monalisa said that she is crestfallen. She demanded that the case needs to be investigated by the CBI or she be allowed to end her life.
