Berhampur: The Ganjam District Sessions Judge Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of accused Bikram Panda in the high-profile murder case of senior BJP leader and advocate Pitabash Panda. The court has now fixed December 9, 2025 as the next date of hearing.
Bail petitions filed by both Bikram Panda and Madan Dalei were listed for hearing today. However, the Investigating Officer sought additional time to submit the Case Diary (CD), prompting the court to defer the proceedings. As the Case Diary remains pending, the court directed that it be produced on the next date before considering the bail applications.
Speaking to reporters, Bikram Panda’s counsel Deepak Pattnayak confirmed that the matter will be taken up again on December 9.
