Bhubaneswar: Popular playback singer is back in the news again for the wrong reasons.
Accusing singers Humane Sagar and Ruku Suna of hurting the religious sentiment of Jagannath devotees by singing a Jagannath bhajan in an offensive tone, human rights activist Shiva Sundar Swain has filed a complaint with Capital Police.
According to the complaint, a video has gone viral recently in which singer Ruku Suna can be seen singing a Jagannath bhajan in an offensive way. Humane Sagar who was present there can be seen laughing uncontrollably. And it has hurt the religious sentiments of Jagannath devotees across the state.
Apart from seeking action against the singers, Swain also sought action against those who are seen in the video. Besides, the complainant has demanded action against the studio in which the song was recorded.
