Balasore: A girl student of Plus II second year today committed suicide by jumping from the roof of her college hostel. The deceased was a native of Bana Talapada village of Bada Sahi in Mayurbhanj district. She was studying at a private college here.
The mishap took place on Wednesday night. She was rushed to Balasore hospital and later shifted to SCB Cuttack where she succumbed while undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case in this connection and investigating further.
