Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night to campaign for the BJP Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates in the state. PM Modi is scheduled to spend the night at Raj Bhawan and proceed to Ganjam district on Monday morning.
PM Modi is scheduled to address a large public meeting at Kanishi ground under Gopalpur Assembly constituency in Ganjam district on Monday. Next, he will address another public meeting at Chikili ground in Nabarangpur.
On Sunda, BJP national president JP Nadda and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar were in Odisha to campaign for the BJP candidates. Nadda also released the election manifesto for Odisha today. No sooner PM Modi leaves Odisha, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the state for electioneering. The visits of the heavyweight BJP leaders have encouraged the saffron party leaders and workers alike.
