Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a mega road show in Bhubaneswar from the airport to Janata Maidan. He arrived at the Bhubaneswar airport in a special Air Force flight and was welcomed by Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with senior leaders.

Thousands of people gathered on both sides of the road to catch a glimpse of their beloved leader, waving flags and shouting slogans. Elaborate arrangements were made to welcome the Prime Minister in a traditional manner.

After completing the road show, Modi attended a public meeting at Janata Maidan, where he addressed the people of Odisha, marking the one-year anniversary of the BJP government in the state. During his visit, he laid the foundation stones and inaugurated infrastructure projects worth Rs. 18,700 crore.

The Prime Minister also chaired a state-level function in Bhubaneswar to commemorate the completion of one year of the Government of Odisha. As part of his commitment to the holistic development of Odisha, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs. 18,600 crore. These projects cover critical sectors such as drinking water, irrigation, agricultural infrastructure, health infrastructure, rural roads and bridges, sections of national highways, and a new railway line.

Additionally, the Prime Minister flagged off new train services, extending rail connectivity to Boudh district for the first time, and flagged off 100 electric buses under the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) system, supporting a modern and eco-friendly urban mobility network.
