Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday extended heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Celebrated on the tritiya tithi of the Baisakh month, this festival is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, who is associated with bringing wealth and prosperity in the lives of people.
With the hope for the festival to usher in prosperity and good fortune into the lives of all citizens, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on his X handle: “Warm wishes to all the families of the country on Akshaya Tritiya. I hope that this auspicious occasion that inspires charity brings new energy and enthusiasm in the lives of all of you.”
Along with PM Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik among other leaders also extended his wishes for the festival.

May the Akhi Muthi Anukula of our farmer brothers be auspicious with the blessings of Lord Jagannath. May a good harvest this year bring happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life.”
