PM Modi Speaks To Ailing Naveen Patnaik, Wishes Him Speedy Recovery

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, currently hospitalised for dehydration treatment and wished him a speedy recovery.

During their phone conversation, the Prime Minister advised Patnaik to take adequate rest and invited him to visit Delhi once his health improves.

Patnaik, 78, was admitted to SUM Ultimate Medicare in Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening after experiencing uneasiness. According to the hospital, his condition is stable, and he’s responding well to treatment.

The BJD leader had undergone spinal surgery for cervical arthritis in Mumbai last month and was discharged on July 7.
