**Bhubaneswar:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be unveiling a slew of projects at Bolangir, during his upcoming visit to the State on January 15. Senior officials from various departments of the Central Government today addressed the press at Bhubaneswar and gave an outline of these new projects.
Chief Public Relations Officer, East Coast Railway (ECoR), Jyoti Prakash Mishra, Regional Passport Officer, Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Dr AVL Jagannath Rao and Dr Rajiv Dwivedy from Archaeological Survey of India briefed mediapersons on the new projects.
The projects which PM Modi will inaugurate and dedicate to the Nation on Janaury 15 are:
Ministry of Railways –
1-Multi-modal Logistics Park at Jharsuguda
2-Inauguration of new railway line from Bolangir to Bichhupali
3-Flagging off of a new train on Bolangir-Bichhupali route
4-Electrification of 813 Kms of Jharsuguda to Vizianagaram and Sambalpur to Angul lines
5-Doubling of 14.273 Kms of Barpali to Dungaripali and 17.354 KmsBolangir to Deogaon Road lines.
6-Bridge No. 588 between Theruvali to Singapur Road station.
Ministry of Culture –
1-Inauguration of renovation and restoration works at Nilamdhaba and Siddheswar Temple in Gandhaharadi (Boudh), Ranipur-Jharial group of monuments in Bolangir and Paschim-Somnath group of temples in Boudh.
2-Inauguration of renovation and restoration works at Asurgarh Fort in Kalahandi.
Ministry of External Affairs –
Inauguration of new Passport SevaKendras in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Puri, Phulbani, Bargarh and Bolangir.
Ministry of Human Resource Development –
Laying of foundation stone for permanent building at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sonepur.
