According to reports, these youths were detained following a raid by the Bhawanipatna Town police on a placement agency operated by them from a rented house in Dewansaheb pada here. However, a few others of the agency managed to flee the spot during the raid.
The said agency allegedly under the pretext of providing jobs like data entry operator, office executive, etc. to youths, used to secure a deposit of Rs 5,000 from each applicant.
