Police Recover Bhubaneswar Plus 2 Student’s Body From Cuttack

Cuttack: Police recovered the body of a Plus 2 student from the bank of Katahjodi River under Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Bridge in Cuttack on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Prateek Das, a resident of Niladri Vihar in Bhubaneswar. The deceased was staying with a relative in Bhubaneswar.

Prateek has been missing since Tuesday and despite search for him in all possible locations, his family members had failed to trace his whereabouts. His mobile phone was also switched off.

His body was first spotted by the locals under the bridge today and they informed the police about it.

A team from Markat Nagar police reached the spot and began a probe into the matter. Why the boy went to Cuttack or what led to his death are yet to be ascertained.
