Bhubaneswar: The Mancheswar police on Sunday recovered the hanging body of a youth from a locked room in the Prachi Vihar area of the capital city.
The deceased has been identified as Deepak Das, a resident of Rajkanika town in Kendrapada.
Deepak was working in the Finance Department of SBI and lived in a rented house in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Deepak’s roommate informed the police after Deepak did not open the room even after repeated calls.
The exact reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained. The police have launched an investigation into this unnatural death case.
