Puri: The Puri police have recovered Rs 50 lakh unaccounted cash near Tarakaja chakk in Pipili today.
According to the police, the cash was seized from two local persons who were riding a motorcycle. Legal action is being initiated in this matter.
The duo belonging to Balanga have been detained. They were intercepted during a routine check near Pipili toll gate.
“During routine checking at Pipilli tollgate, these persons didn’t stop and sped away. They were chased by Pipilli Police and intercepted near Tarakaja chakk,” a senior police official said.
