Bhubaneswar: A couple of days after the arrest of woman blackmailer and extortionist, the police today said that it is very likely to move the court seeking the former’s remand. According to the the police, the chats and phone conversations of this woman are under scanner.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, DCP Prateek Singh said that a notice will be issued to the accused’s husband to probe his role in the alleged blackmailing incidents. He is reportedly sick and will soon be called for examination, the police said.
As the investigation progresses, the police will probe into the woman’s financial transactions, assets and other deals. The financial angle is a major part of this probe, apart from telephonic conversations and exchange of text messages, the DCP added.
