Bhubaneswar: BJP MLA candidate of Jharigaon Narasingha Bhatra was allegedly attacked by a group of miscreants in a polling booth in Nabarangpur district, on Monday.

Bhatra had filed a complaint with Jharigaon police in this regard.

According to the complainant Bhatra, he had gone to polling booth no-204 along with his accomplice after allegations of voter intimidation, booth capture and irregularities poured in. When he went to the polling booth, miscreants reportedly snatched his gold chain and MLA candidate identity card. That apart, the unscrupulous elements used derogatory remarks against him.
